Hooray for Birthdays!

I'm thoroughly convinced I have the cutest friends on the west coast. This week has been filled with balloons, cheesecake, and the most thoughtful gifts, but my highlight has to be Saturday night. First, you should know it's a Stolworthy girl tradition to take a trip to New York City for our sixteenth birthdays, but wanting to avoid the unpredictable East Coast weather, I opted to spend my trip to NYC under the fall leaves. The trip was perfect! But, I've had post-NYC depression ever since, and was feeling quite nostalgic these past couple of days. So, for my birthday dinner we ended up at Serendipity 3!

I'm probably so biased, but I swear nothing beats Serendipity's frozen hot chocolate (or friends like mine).

After dinner, we took a walk down the strip, stopping in shops and to see street performers. I'm so in awe I get to live in such a culturally diverse city. The lights, the music, the atmosphere, nothing is better than a night spent in the middle of it all.

But most of all, this birthday I'm thankful for such incredible family and friends. I'd most definitely be lost without them.

xoxo,
Al
